Place for experimentation and development
RDM Energylab is a training and test centre where the production, transport and application of hydrogen can be tested on a small scale. Hydrogen is one of the most promising energy carriers and potentially an essential link in the global energy transition. Hydrogen gas can store a relatively large amount of energy, which can be converted into electricity using a fuel cell. In addition, green hydrogen can be used as a chemical building block in industry, where gray hydrogen is now being used. Green hydrogen can also be used in special central heating boilers. Hydrogen makes it possible to store a lot of energy in a relatively small space. It is important that there are places for experimentation and development, so that the full potential of hydrogen technology can be explored and utilized.
