How do circular cities do it? Get inspired in Rotterdam during the Circular Economy Week

02/07/22

Circular economy is very much in the spotlights, and rightfully so. Nations and cities worldwide strive to become more sustainable and more responsible with our planet’s limited resources. This week Feb 7 – 12 it's Circular Economy Week in the Netherlands, with events taking place across the country.

Circular pioneers are opening their doors to educate and inspire about circularity. The week’s program is an opportunity for entrepreneurs, educational institutions, governments and organisations to connect in creating impact together.

The city of Rotterdam is fully committed to transitioning to a circular economy and a sustainable future. Here you will find circular pioneers and icons such as BlueCity and the Floating Farm and special programs and subsidies aimed at stimulating circular innovation. During the Circular Economy Week multiple activities are happening in Rotterdam, online and on location. Check out the program  (Dutch) and stay tuned to Rotterdam Partner’s LinkedIn account to find out more about Rotterdam’s circular initiatives.
