About Waterbus
The Waterbus is the largest fast ferry service in the Rotterdam and Dordrecht region.
Waterbus line 20 departs from the Rotterdam Erasmusbrug stop (north side) towards Dordrecht (Merwekade) and stops at Krimpen aan den IJssel, Ridderkerk, Alblasserdam, Hendrik Ido Ambacht and Papendrecht. Line 21 takes just over half an hour to Kinderdijk from the Rotterdam Erasmusbrug stop via Rivium.
From Dordrecht, there are connecting lines to, for example, Zwijndrecht and the Hollandse Biesbosch. Summer and winter timetables apply.

To pay, you can use your public transport card or a pre-bought ticket such as a Waterbus E-ticket or a Tourist Day Ticket. You can take your bicycle with you for free.
Please note that checking in and out is done on the quay. On board, you can buy a single ticket from the steward using a bank or credit card.
