Rotterdam Zoo is in the Blijdorp district to the north of the city: every corner of the world has its place in the zoo. You can find the African Savannah, the glass tunnel through the Oceanium, the Asian Jungle Trek and Amazonica. Rotterdam Zoo has eight congress and meeting venues right bang in the middle of the animal kingdom and all of them have Green Key certificates. The Shark Room is in the Oceanium and has a large window through which blacktip sharks, sea turtles and other underwater residents can be seen. Its ceiling height is 3.4 metres and it can accommodate up to 96 people if arranged as a theatre and 128 people if set up as a dining venue. The Eauditorium has a ceiling height of 5.5 metres and can hold a maximum of 220 people if arranged as a theatre and 96 if set up as a dining venue. Both spaces can be set up as required and have Wi-Fi coverage free of charge. In-house catering is available. Rotterdam Zoo is easy to get to both by car and public transport. It is just a 15-minute walk from Rotterdam Central Station. Motorist should take the Blijdorp exit off the A20 motorway.
