About De Majesteit
De Majesteit has remained one of Europe s largest and most luxurious paddle steamers since it was launched in 1926. This royal steamer was restored in 1999 after years of cruising around the continent. It is over 80 metres long and 16 metres wide and can accommodate up to 600 passengers. The interior of the saloons, with their gem-like woodwork and glass, whisk you back in time.
The steamer has five saloons and a veranda. The largest saloon has a ceiling height of 2.4 metres and can hold up to 150 people when set up as a theatre and 120 for a dining event. Part of the space can be arranged as required and there are no pillars in it. There is free WiFi coverage throughout the vessel. De Majesteit also has a Green Key certificate.
De Majesteit Paddle Steamer can be boarded at the Maasboulevard in the Waterfront area. Paid parking is available in the nearby car park. Oostplein metro station is about a five-minute walk away.
