Rotterdam stage and 'living lab' for innovations at Innovation Expo

Rotterdam is the stage for the Innovation Expo, which will take place on Thursday 4 October at the grounds of RDM Rotterdam. This one-day event is open to the public and is all about innovation, with many national and international exhibitors and keynotes from a.o. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations Ollongren, Mayor Aboutaleb and entrepreneur Yousef Yousef (CEO LG Sonic). The theme of the Innovation Expo is Global Challenges, Dutch Solutions.
For the Innovation Expo, the RDM Rotterdam grounds will be transformed into a ‘living lab’ of innovation and a showcase for Dutch solutions for major challenges in the areas of circular economy, energy, water, mobility, the built environment, health and food and the required key technologies. With more than 5,000 participants, 200 exhibitors, keynotes and more than 100 in-depth sessions, the Innovation Expo offers a very diverse program. Among the exhibitors are several Rotterdam companies and institutions, including RAMLAB, H2EnergyLab, Floating Lab (Port of Rotterdam) Parade Circulair (Stadsbeheer Rotterdam) and AquaSmartXL. The exhibition floor is divided into the themes circular economy, energy, built environment, health, water, food, mobility and key technologies. In addition to the program at the submarine wharf at RDM Rotterdam, participants can also participate in various excursions.
RDM Rotterdam logical location for Innovation Expo
Rotterdam and the submarine wharf at RDM Rotterdam are a logical choice as the location for the Innovation Expo. Rotterdam is a city of innovators.
