Foodhallen Rotterdam recently opened doors in the monumental, robust and characteristic Pakhuismeesteren warehouse. This spacious indoor food market has fifteen local stands with a diverse range. It is a social concept where everyone eats together, but can also individually choose a meal at one of the stands. The Hotel Room Mate Bruno is also located in Pakhuismeesteren.

Héroine is the newest addition to Het Industriegebouw. At Héroine you can enjoy delicious dishes, tasty wines and service of a high level, without fuss. Het Industriegebouw is one of the the coolest upcoming spot in town. This icon of the rebuilding of Rotterdam, realised in post-war Rotterdam, designed by architect Hugh Maaskant in collaboration with Willem van Tijen, is transformed into a communal building. It is home to the office of architecture firm MVRDV and other restaurants as Alfredo’s Taqueria, Old Scuola and By Jarmusch.

Once it was the Tropicana swimming complex, full of children splashing and playing in the pools and zooming down the waterslide. Today it’s home to the hip Aloha Bar: a multifunctional dining facility on the Maas, with bar, restaurant, coffee roaster, and riverside patio.
