Rotterdam fifth most hospitable city in the world

Today is International Day of the City. Online travel company TravelBird has studied how international cities score in hospitality in relation to the level of mass tourism. Rotterdam is number five worldwide.
The pressure on some cities is increasing significantly through tourism and this has a huge impact on local communities and how tourists experience travel. The study was initially conducted to discover which cities take impressive initiatives to welcome tourists in a responsible way. The objective was also to chart the impact of mass tourism on city residents.
