Our role in the city

• Knowledge and expertise of the tourist market and Rotterdam
  As the Tourism Board of Rotterdam, we have an in-depth and vast knowledge of Rotterdam. We would like to help you plan attractive programmes for groups in the city and to promote Rotterdam as a tourist product.
• Gateway to network in and outside the city
  With a vast and good network both inside and outside the city, we can be the gateway to Rotterdam for you. We are working together with over 160 partners in the city, who operate in the business and tourist visitor market. Together with hotels, attractions and museums in the city we strive to market Rotterdam as best as we can and to make the purchase of tourist offerings as easy as possible.
• Supporting and taking the pressure off during the entire process, from start to finish
  The Tourism Board team is hugely experienced in the travel trade and using this expertise, we intend to support you and take the pressure off you as much as possible. We will process your requests quickly and carefully, consult our network contacts and will revert to you as soon as possible. Tapping into our knowledge and expertise, we are happy to think along with you. From the exploration of Rotterdam as a tourist destination to arranging site inspections.
• Rotterdam Tourist Information
  From within Rotterdam Partners, we also offer the services of Rotterdam Tourist Information (RTI). We offer a wide range of information, including city maps and leaflets with topical and themed information in English. In addition to this, we provide the Rotterdam Welcome Card against the purchase price. These are public transport cards for 1, 2 or 3 days, including discounts on attractions and restaurants. Our colleagues at the Rotterdam Tourist Information locations in the city help tourists with practical questions about the city. Why not include in your programme a visit to the Rotterdam Discovery, situated in the historical Schielandshuis in the Rotterdam Tourist Information on Coolsingel? This is the place to start in Rotterdam. The Discovery gives your group a beautiful introduction to Rotterdam on the basis of a huge city model, projections and possibly an explanation by one of our colleagues.
