Direct train connection London - Rotterdam (and v.v.) with Eurostar operational

10/27/20

The first direct Eurostar train left Amsterdam via Rotterdam to London on Monday October 26. With this connection, transferring in Brussels is no longer necessary. Travellers from Rotterdam Central can now be the centre of the British capital in just 3.5 hours, with the return journey even taking fifteen minutes less. Passport control now also takes place in Rotterdam, which further enhances travel convenience. The direct Eurostar connection is a fast and sustainable extra travel option, offering travellers the additional advantage of getting on and off in the city centres.

Currently there is a call from the Dutch and British governments to limit travel as much as possible. The direct train connection will offer a good additional option to both tourist and business travellers in the future.
