Trade missions

The Dutch, and ‘Rotterdammers’ in particular, have always been exceptionally strong in the field of trade. Within our city, Rotterdam Partners facilitates global trade and international expansion. We do this in close collaboration with the municipality of Rotterdam and our extensive network of partners within and beyond our city’s borders. We both organise trade missions ourselves, and we actively participate in incoming and outgoing trade missions. These trade missions are always placed within a broader context of trade expansion programs for specific sectors or countries.

Trade Mission Smart and Green Shipping China

Are you active in green and smart shipping? And do you want to do business in China? Then take part in our trade mission 30 June – 5 July, co-organised by RVO, NMT, the Dutch Embassy and Rotterdam Partners.

This mission is interesting for SMEs in the maritime manufacturing industry, such as suppliers for sustainable shipbuilding, naval architects and engineers. During the mission we will visit Guangzhou, Nantong and Shanghai, where we will explore various shipyards, ports and relevant projects. You will meet important Chinese individuals and organizations in the sector and you will hear more about China’s plans to make the sector more sustainable.
